Made using leftover paint from a larger painting and a spare canvas, this flamingo’s color palette was limited by the materials on hand. The primary colors used were Phthalocyanine Violet and Phthalocyanine Blue (Green Shade), with accents of Cadmium Yellow and Alizarin Crimson. These colors were applied quickly over an underpainting of Raw Umber. The result is a flamingo that appears to glow.
