This image was part of my show Preoccupation at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery. The concept features a synthetic world replete with robotic Blue Heron. The cyborg bird had already been rendered in an earlier faux patent drawing as depicted here, but the world/universe itself was first featured in an acrylic painting of a simulated ocean with a fish leaping in the foreground.
