Each image in the calendar links to a project that had been completed for the #30paintingsin30days challenge. Since I'm repopulating my site manually, the images in the calendar won't appear until the article has been restored. But for the dates that have background images, each represent a post concerning the subject matter represented therein.

About the Challenge

Leslie Seita’s “Thirty Paintings in Thirty Days” challenge had a few hundred artists participating. The goal  was to finish one painting in a day for 30 days, leaving a 48 hour window for anyone who didn't complete their piece on the assigned day. And to make the process easier, we were allowed to start ahead of time.

about the theme: Unified CheEse Theory

Rather than examining layered systems, I use “unified cheese theory” as a surreal metaphor for connection. Each mouse exists in its own moment—fishing with cheese, weathering a personal storm, etc.—yet together they form a loose pattern of shared experience in an ever-expanding anthropomorphic mouse-verse.
